New Braunfels ER & Hospital offers on-site medical detox for patients recovering from substance use disorders. We can help patients recover from alcohol, opiates, heroin, kratom, marijuana, cocaine, methamphetamine, pain medication, benzodiazepines, and other drugs. Our judgement-free facility is staffed by a Board-Certified Addiction Medicine Physician who will provide individualized care for you in person. Patients will recover in individual rooms with big screen televisions, free Wi-Fi, private bathrooms, and catered meals. After treating the immediate medical needs, we connect patients with our local partner facilities to continue their road of recovery.

Dr. Dadoush graduated from Damascus Medical School in 1989. After working as a research fellow At Harvard Medical School, he completed a Masters in Public Health at Boston University, and then started his postgraduate medical training in 1992 at Yale University.

In 1999, after getting his board certification in Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine, Dr. Dadoush returned back to Damascus, his hometown, where he was practicing medicine.

In 2011, Dr. Dadoush and his family returned to Texas. He was chosen as the medical director of the ED at Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco, TX untill 2014, when Dr. Dadoush and his family moved to Austin.

In his spare time, he enjoys the outdoors of Austin with his wife and two teenage children. His oldest daughter, Sarah is pursuing graduate studies in Journalism in Columbia University, while Zena, his second oldest, is doing a PhD in Counseling Psychology.
