March 30 is National Doctors’ Day, a time to recognize the heroic measures doctors take to keep their communities safe and healthy. We would like to personally thank the remarkable physicians at New Braunfels ER & Hospital!

Get to Know Our Extraordinary Doctors

Dr. Scott Knepper

Dr. Scott Knepper is an Emergency Medicine Specialist in Central Texas. He received his medical degree from the University of Texas at Dallas Medical School and completed his residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Emergency Medicine. Dr. Knepper is board-certified with the American Board of Emergency Medicine and has over 9 years of experience in the medical field. Dr. Knepper is passionate about health care and helping his patients. 

Dr. Trey Allen

Raised in Perryton, TX, Dr. Allen knew he wanted to practice medicine from a very young age. Since completing his residency in Emergency Medicine at LSU-Baton Rouge, Dr. Allen has been living in New Braunfels with his family. Dr. Allen has practiced for nine years in Emergency Medicine and says he most enjoys engaging with patients one-on-one to provide both the patient and the family the help they need. In his spare time, Dr. Allen enjoys international travel and kayaking the beautiful local rivers. 

Dr. Tom Vo

Dr. Vo’s affinity for helping others inspired him to study medicine. He brings more than 20 years of expertise in the business of medicine to Nutex Health. He is board-certified in emergency medicine and has worked in busy hospitals and emergency centers throughout Texas. Additionally, he has been instrumental in the start-up and management of over 30 Micro-Hospitals and Emergency Centers throughout the US. He, and his wife, Kim, have four kids they’re raising in Houston. In his spare time, he likes to participate in physical fitness activities, practice martial arts, and spend time with his family.
