Feb. 14, 2022 (NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas) – New Braunfels ER & Hospital celebrates its grand opening today as they readily begin taking patients. From this day forward, the facility will remain open 24/7, 365 days a year, offering an unparalleled level of emergency care. This one-of-a-kind specialty hospital is owned and operated by local, board-certified emergency physicians in conjunction with Nutex Health. New Braunfels ER & Hospital is conveniently located at 3221 Commercial Circle, next to the New Braunfels Fire Department.  

New Braunfels ER & Hospital was founded on a simple yet visionary idea; to bring the highest, most proficient level of emergency care to the public at an affordable price. Every patient that walks through the door will experience a comfortable atmosphere with minimal to no wait time before seeing a highly qualified emergency physician. Locally owned and operated, this specialty hospital is on a mission to personalize health care.

The leading medical services provided include pediatric care, clinical services, imaging and laboratory, and medical detox. The 16,145 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility houses nine private exam rooms and the most advanced imaging and laboratory equipment available, as well as four inpatient beds and nine ER beds. The high-tech imaging suite features CT scan, X-Ray, and Ultrasound with rapid radiology reports. Stunning interiors incorporate calming colors, plush furnishings, and flat-screen TV monitors in every room for maximum patient comfortability. The staff is dedicated to making their patient’s visit as pleasant as possible.

“While a patient is staying with us, they can heal comfortably under the care of our team of board-certified physicians. They can also have dinner provided by some of our finer local establishments we have partnered with.  Given our smaller unit size and business structure, we can offer better nurse-to-patient ratios than is common in traditional hospitals,” said Dr. Allen.
